We left Arusha in the morning and headed straight for Ngorongoro. Standing at the rim and looking down into the crater,it’s hard to describe. It felt like peeking into another world. We spent the afternoon on the crater floor, surrounded by zebras, wildebeests, and even a rhino in the distance. By sunset, we were settled into our cozy lodge nearby, wrapped in blankets and sipping tea as the sky turned pink.

After breakfast, we made our way to Serengeti National Park. The landscapes changed slowly—from green highlands to endless golden plains. When we finally reached the Serengeti, it was like stepping into a dream. Wildlife was everywhere—elephants, giraffes, even a cheetah scanning the horizon. That first night in the tented camp, falling asleep to the sounds of the wild, was pure magic.
