Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from the hotel by your driver/guide. You’ll depart for Tarangire National Park, a 2.5-hour scenic drive south of Arusha. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Upon entering the park, you will be welcomed by the sight of elephants roaming freely. Begin your game drive with the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and impalas. Tarangire is also home to unique bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, where you can observe hippos wallowing in the water. After an exciting morning of game viewing, you will ascend the crater walls and begin your journey back to Arusha.
