On this beautiful day, our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport. From there, you will depart Kigali for a breathtaking three-hour scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at the lodge and enjoy a relaxing lunch. Later in the afternoon, you’ll visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, where you'll delve into the inspiring life and legacy of Dian Fossey who devoted her life to protecting mountain gorillas.

Your day will start with breakfast at 06:30, followed by a transfer to the Park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing at 07:00. From here, you'll set off into the lush jungle in search of the elusive mountain gorillas. The entire experience lasts from 1-6 hours, including a magical hour spent in the presence of these gentle giants. During this time, you’ll learn about their family structures, unique behaviors, and daily routines. After this unforgettable encounter, you'll return to the lodge.

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, you’ll head to Kigali for a chance to pick up souvenirs and indulge in some last-minute shopping at carefully selected spots, including the vibrant Kimironko local market.
