This wildlife safari takes you to Lake Mburo national park, the smallest savanna park in Uganda. The drive from Kampala is relatively short (3 ½ - 4 hours’ drive) making it a perfect safari option if you have few days in the country. Your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and you then start the journey to Lake Mburo National Park. At the end of your safari, the driver guide will drop you off at your hotel.

Itinerary
Day 1: To Lake Mburo NP
Lake Mburo
You are picked up and then start the journey to the park passing through Uganda’s small trading centers and towns getting a look in to the daily life of the locals. You will have a short stop over at the Equator Monument along Masaka road, here you take photos and after continue with the journey. On arrival check into the lodge and have dinner.

Day 2: Game drives & boat ride
Lake Mburo
You will set out in to the park for an early morning game drive. Wildlife to look out for while on the game drive include buffaloes, topis, zebras, giraffes, impala, oribi and hippos among others. he park has various trails, some with waterholes that attract wildlife. In the afternoon you will go on a boat ride on Lake Mburo, take in the cool breeze of the lake as you spot crocodiles, hippos, other animals as they come to the lake to drink water and several species of water birds.
Day 3: Travel to Kampala/Entebbe
Have an early breakfast at the lodge and head out once again for another game drive before we set off. This will give us an opportunity to look out for wildlife that we might have missed the day before. After you end your game drive you will then travel back to Kampala. On arrival your driver guide will drop you off at the hotel.
