Itinerary

Day 1: Pick-up from Kampala/Entebbe

Kibale

Pick up from the hotel in Kampala/Entebbe Airport by our tour guide/drive with a briefing about the tour and transfer to Fort Portal the land of primates Kibale Forest National Park in about 5 to 6 hours’ drive from Kampala. Relaxation and Lunch in Fort Portal then proceed to Kibale Forest National Park. Upon arrival, we will clear with the necessary entrance fees, check-in at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Chimpanzee Forest Lodge

Day 2: Chimp Trekking, Bigodi walk.

Kibale

After breakfast at the lodge, our driver shall transfer you to the headquarters in Kanyanchu for a brief about the do’s and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking. Trek with a park ranger for primates and chimps in their natural habitats with 1 hour grant for chimp up close interface and photos, lunch at the lodge. Later, you will enjoy a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to variety of birds and many primates thrilling the 4.5 KM long swamp walk. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge

Day 3: Return to Kampala

Kibale

On the last day, you will exit Kibale Forest National Park after breakfast and embark on a drive back to Kampala or head to Entebbe international Airport for a flight back home.
