Itinerary

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by your guide and transferred to Arusha. This day is reserved for relaxation after your flight. You can explore the local markets or enjoy a leisurely evening preparing for your upcoming adventure.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full day of game drives where you may spot lions, zebras, giraffes, and various bird species. The park is particularly beautiful during the dry season when animals congregate around the Tarangire River. In the late afternoon, you will return to your accommodation for dinner.

Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara

Following an early breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park. Famous for its tree-climbing lions and vast soda lake teeming with flamingos, this park offers a different ecosystem compared to Tarangire. Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse habitats including forests, grasslands, and wetlands while observing wildlife such as elephants, hippos, and numerous bird species. After a full day of exploration, return to your accommodation for the night.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

Depart early in the morning for Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Africa's most famous wildlife areas due to its rich biodiversity within a volcanic caldera. After descending into the crater floor, embark on a game drive where you can see black rhinos among other wildlife like wildebeests and zebras. Spend the entire day exploring this unique ecosystem before returning to your accommodation in the evening.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

On your second day in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, consider visiting a Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions or take part in guided nature walks that offer insights into local flora and fauna. The area is also known for its stunning landscapes; enjoy panoramic views from various viewpoints around the crater rim.

Serengeti National Park

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast on Day 6, set off towards Serengeti National Park with stops along the way to appreciate the scenic beauty of Tanzania’s landscapes. Upon entering Serengeti National Park—famous for its annual wildebeest migration—you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive that may include sightings of lions lounging under acacia trees or cheetahs sprinting across open plains.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti

Spend an entire day exploring Serengeti’s vast savannahs on morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the time of year you visit (typically between June and September), you may witness dramatic river crossings during migration season or observe predators hunting their prey amidst herds of wildebeest and zebras

Return to Arusha

On your final day after breakfast in Serengeti, begin your journey back to Arusha with stops at scenic viewpoints along the way. Arrive in Arusha by late afternoon where you can reflect on your incredible safari experience before heading to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure or continuing with further travel plans within Tanzania.
