After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and begin your drive to Mikumi National Park (approximately 4-5 hours). The drive takes you through scenic Tanzanian countryside.embark on your first game drive in Mikumi National Park. Explore the Mkata Floodplain, looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and various antelopes. Keep an eye out for lions resting under acacia trees. Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Mikumi to Udzungwa Mountains
Morning: Enjoy an early morning game drive in Mikumi, offering opportunities to spot animals that are more active during the cooler hours.Mid-Morning: After breakfast, drive a short distance to Udzungwa Mountains National Park (approximately 1 hour). Afternoon: Begin a guided forest walk to Sanje Waterfalls. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the plunge pool of the waterfall.This is a moderate hike that takes you through beautiful rainforestand head back to your accomodations
Udzungwa to Nyerere National Park
Nyerere (Selous)
Morning: After an early breakfast, depart from Udzungwa and drive to Nyerere National Park (Selous). This is a longer drive (approximately 5-7 hours), taking you through varied landscapes. Afternoon: Arrive at your accomodation in Nyerere. After checking in and having lunch, embark on a thrilling boat safari on the Rufiji River. You might also spot elephants and other animals coming to the river to drink. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
