After breakfast in Moshi, you'll drive to Machame Gate (approx. 1–1.5 hrs). Registration with Kilimanjaro National Park and meet the porters, guides, and cooks. Begin your trek through lush rainforest, with a chance to see blue monkeys and exotic birds. Trail is often damp and slippery, trekking poles recommended. Machame Camp to Shira Camp (3,850m)
