Itinerary

Day 1

Bwindi Impenetrable

On this day you will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe. You then start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with your driver guide. The drive to Bwindi is scenic as you have views of the beautiful scenery of kigezi highlands along the way. You will have a stopover for lunch along the way and a stop over at the Uganda Equator monument where you can take photos. Dinner and overnight at a lodge near your starting point for tracking.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast at the lodge this morning, you transfer to the park headquarters for your gorilla trek. You will receive a briefing from your ranger guide with guidelines on the trek and how to behave around the gorillas. After this you will be given walking sticks for support as you trek in the forest. The park guides will lead you through the rain forest in search of these endangered species, once you locate the mountain gorillas you are allowed to spend one hour with them.

Day 3: Travel back

Today you check out of the lodge and travel back to Kampala/Entebbe. On arrival the driver guide will drop you off at the hotel in Kampala/Entebbe or at the airport for your flight back.
