Dar es salaam to Mikumi

Your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam or the airport and start driving to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 5 to 6 hours’ drive. You will have a short stop in Morogoro for a hot lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to Mikumi National Park. You will arrive for an afternoon game drive until sunset. Animals commonly found in this park include lions, elands, hartebeests, buffalos, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and many more.

After an early breakfast, you will go for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park with parked lunch boxes or the option of having a hot lunch in the lodge. Morogoro to Nyerere NP

After an early breakfast, you will start your journey to Nyerere National Park. The journey is truly wild and in the untouched area of Tanzania. The drive will take you up into the Uluguru Mountains across rivers and pass through small local villages and farms. The drive is tiring but possibly the most rewarding and adventurous on the southern circuit. You will arrive in Nyerere National Park for an afternoon boat safari. Boat safari brings you into close contact with animals.

You will have a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park exploring the park in a 4WD vehicle will permit you to have good photographic opportunities and the chance to explore different sections of the vast park. Nyerere National Park now the largest national park in Africa, is a newly established park that is part of what is known as Selous Game Reserve. Walking Safari then Drive to Dar

You will wake up early in the morning and have a cup of coffee or tea, then go out for a wilderness walking safari with the guidance of an armed ranger. The walking safari will take about two to two and a half hours. Walking safari will give you a particularly intimate feel for the African wild. You will get the chance to touch nature and see the different footprints and droppings of different wild animals and small creatures that you can’t see during the game drive.
