Arrival in Kigoma Town
Meet on arrival at the Airport, transfer to Kigoma town and check in at Kigoma Hilltop Lodge base on bed and breakfast. Kigoma, situated in the Western Province of Tanzania, is a laidback and attractive little town. The streets are lined up with small stores and street traders. Touring around the fish markets, shops and stall keeps you occupied for the day

Drive to Mahale and take the Boat
Early in the morning at 7:00 you will be picked up from the hotel and drive to Mgambo Village and take the boat to Mahale Mountains National Park and arrive during the evening time and get the meal. Have some rest to gain the power for chimpanzee trekking the next day. Dinner and overnight at Mahale Mango Bandas.

Trek the Chimpanzee
You will get breakfasts at 08:00, and go for Chimpanzee trekking in the forest. The hikes takes you to the chimp’s habitation areas are accessible and not strenuous, although being in good physical condition will ease the strain of walking through the jungle! Up close, observing the endangered primates is an once-in-a-lifetime experience. Meals and overnight at Mango Bandas The Mahale Mountains are one of the most remote and beautiful national parks in Africa.

Drive back to Kigoma
Breakfast at 07h00, After breakfast go for chimpanzee trekking up to 11h00 return back to the camp, get hot lunch then take a boat transfer back to Mgambo village. Meet your driver and drive back to Kigoma town. On arrival transfer to check in at Kigoma Hilltop base on bed and breakfast.
