Check in, relax, and enjoy your first night in Uganda’s largest and most spectacular park.
Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, the best time to spot lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. Your guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas for incredible photo opportunities. Return for breakfast and relaxation before heading for an afternoon boat safari on the Nile River, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the riverbanks. The boat takes you to the bottom of the mighty Murchison Falls.
Visit the Top of the Falls
After breakfast, visit the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gorge, creating a breathtaking spectacle. After enjoying the views, embark on a scenic drive to Semuliki National Park, a birdwatcher’s paradise with diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes.
Game Drive
Begin the day with a game drive in Semuliki National Park, known for its rare mammals like the pygmy hippo, forest buffalo, and bush babies. After the game drive, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time to relax and enjoy the evening.
Game Drive and Boat Safari
Start the day with an early game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime spot to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, head to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and an abundance of birdlife. The cruise offers spectacular sightings of wildlife coming to the water’s edge to drink

Arrive in the evening and prepare for the next day’s once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience.
Gorilla Trekking
Wake up early for the highlight of the trip – gorilla trekking! After a briefing by park rangers, trek through the dense jungle of Bwindi, tracking a habituated gorilla family. Once you find them, spend one magical hour observing their behavior, interactions, and playfulness. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa pygmy community, the indigenous people of the forest. Learn about their traditional hunting techniques, music, and way of life.
Transfer to Lake Mburo
After breakfast, leave Bwindi and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest but richest savannah park. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy an evening nature walk, where you might see zebras, giraffes, impalas, and elands up close.
Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe
Start the final day with a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, a great way to spot hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife in a peaceful setting. After the cruise, embark on your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening. This marks the end of an incredible 9-day Uganda wildlife safari.
