The Moremi Magic is our 5 night Moremi and Okavango Delta Safari or vise versa traversing the Xakanaka and Khwai regions of the Moremi Game Reserve. The short 5-night mobile safari is perfect for those limited on time or wanting to combine the safari with fly in safari or extension to other countries. A serviced safari is a mobile safri of between 2 and 7 guests departing on pre-determined dates.You have your own safari vehicle and professional guide and a back up team of driver, cook and camp assistant who drive in a separate vehicle.

Itinerary

Day 1-2 ( Camping in the Xakanaka

Moremi

Spending our first two nights camping in the Xakanaka/Third Bridge area, we explore the surrounding wilderness on game drives during the day. The Moremi Game Reserve protects around a third of the entire Okavango Delta ecosystem some 5000 km2.

Day 3-5

Moremi

Following the early breakfast , we pack up the camp and continue our journey to Khwai stopping for a bush picnic lunch en route.The Khwai River forms the boundary between the reserve and the local Khwai Community Area. We spend the next three nights camping at a campsite in the Khwai area of Moremi Game Reserve. You will also experience a 2 and half Mokoro trip, discovering channels and lagoons at a relaxed pace in a traditional dug-out canoe.

Day 6

Moremi

Today your safari comes to an end. NOTE: Although we make every effort to adhere to schedules, itineraries and activities , these are subject to cahnge in light of chnging local conditions (weather and roads) as well as availability. We reserve the right to change to a motor boat cruise subject to local conditions. You will be notified accordinly. Rates are subject to National Parks increase by Botswana Government prior notice.
