Your safari begins with a warm welcome and early pick-up from your Nairobi hotel by the Jossec Safaris team. After a short briefing, depart north toward Samburu National Reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive past the equator and Mount Kenya before arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, go on your first game drive in this dry northern reserve, known for its special species such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and the long-necked gerenuk.
