Transfer from Kigali

This day starts with your driver guide picking you up from the airport or your hotel in Kigali and embarking on an exciting road drive to extreme southwestern Uganda. A stopover for lunch will be made en route, being home to a variety of primates, plants, and tropical birds. On arrival, you will have a visit to Batwa pygmy’s community for a culture visit, dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge amidst the forests and verdant hills of Bwindi as you wait for the next day’s adventure.

After breakfast, you will head out to the park headquarters to arrive no later than 7:30 am. Here, you will join other visitors for a briefing by the park staff. You will then meet with the lead guide who will take you into the forest to find the gorilla family that you will be allocated to. And after this you will proceed to the border point crossing to Rwanda and then lastly to Kigali hence this marking the end of the 2-day Gorilla tour through Kigali.
