Upon arrival, you will be met by your professional guide from Giant Holiday Safaris, who will provide an overview of your safari itinerary. You will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe, The night at your hotel offers a perfect start to an exciting journey through Uganda’s wilderness. You’ll enjoy a peaceful rest in anticipation of the adventure ahead.

Transfer to Murchison Falls NP

After breakfast, you will start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and one of the most iconic national parks. The drive from Entebbe to Murchison Falls takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, passing through the scenic Ugandan countryside. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge, where you can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and prepare for the exciting safari activities that lie ahead.

Game Drives in Murchison Falls NP

Today is dedicated to exploring Murchison Falls National Park through exciting game drives. Murchison Falls is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the “Big Five” lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros. Your early morning game drive offers the chance to see some of these majestic animals as they are most active during the cooler hours of the morning. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Murchison Falls.

Transfer to Kibale National Park

You’ll drive to Kibale National Park, known for being one of the best places in Africa for chimpanzee trekking. The transfer takes approximately 7 to 8 hours, Upon arrival you will check into your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening. The park is famous for its tropical rainforest, home to a variety of primates, including the chimpanzees.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi

The highlight of the day is chimpanzee trekking in Kibale NP. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park’s headquarters for a briefing before beginning your trek into the forest. The trek to find the chimpanzee groups can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on where the chimps were last spotted. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you’ll spend an hour observing them as they forage, socialize, and play. In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a Bigodi Swamp Walk.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

Today involves a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Upon arrival at Queen Elizabeth National Park, you’ll check into your accommodation and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the park. Queen Elizabeth is known for its abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and hippos. It is also famous for its unique tree-climbing lions found in the Ishasha sector, a must-see for many visitors. The park is also rich in birdlife, making it a haven for bird watchers.

You will enjoy both a morning game drive and an afternoon boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, The boat safari offers a unique perspective of the park, where you can observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of waterfowl.

After visiting Ishasha, you’ll continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, upon arrival at your lodge, you’ll check in and relax, preparing for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. after the trek you will return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa people, the indigenous forest dwellers of Bwindi. The Batwa Trail Experience allows you to learn about the Batwa’s traditional way of life.

Rushaga Gorilla Lodge

Drive Back to Entebbe

On the final day of your safari, you will drive back to Kampala or Entebbe. The journey takes around 8 to 9 hours, providing one last opportunity to enjoy Uganda’s rural beauty. You will have a stop over at the Equator line in kayabwe for lunch and photographs before reaching Entebbe International Airport for your journey back home.
