Arrival in Dar to Selous

Meet your guide at the airport or your hotel in Dar es Salaam. After a short briefing, you will begin your journey to Selous Game Reserve, one of the largest protected wildlife areas in Africa. Enjoy a scenic drive through rural villages and landscapes. On arrival, check in at your lodge or camp. Depending on your arrival time, you may have option to enjoy a late afternoon boat safari along the Rufiji River.

Full day game drive at Selous

After an early breakfast, depart for a full day game drive in the vast and untouched wilderness of Selous and walking safaris. The park is home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wild dogs, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. With fewer crowds compared to northern parks, Selous offers a truly authentic safari experience. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush while surrounded by nature,

Transfer from Selous to Mikumi

After breakfast, depart from Selous and begin your journey towards Mikumi National Park. After an early breakfast, depart Mikumi and drive to Ruaha National Park.Tanzania’s largest national park and one of the most remote and wild.
