Nairobi to Masai Mara Game reserve

Masai Mara

Pick up from your hotel or airport and drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills. Afternoon game drive to see the sundowner as you trail the Big 5, i.e., Lions in large prides, Elephants, buffalo, zebras, and numerous plains game. Dinner and overnight stay at camp. Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner.

Full day at Masai Mara

Masai Mara

Full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5/other predators. An optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopards, many kinds of antelopes, and elephants.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

We leave after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. After approximately 5hrs we arrive and start our game drive at this awe-inspiring park. We search for both the black and white rhinos, lions, antelopes, and visit the shorelines for the flamingos and pelicans. Dinner and lunch will be at the Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

We leave camp after breakfast and drive to Lake Naivasha. We make a stop at the East African section of the great rift valley viewpoint. Enjoy views of a stratovolcano, Mount Longonot, with an 8x12 km caldera is quite a sight to behold. We arrive in time for lunch, then later, after a brief rest, head out for the afternoon’s activities. We begin with a boat ride, about one hour in the only freshwater lake in the Kenyan rift valley that is home to hippos and over 400 bird species.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

Amboseli

We leave the lodge after breakfast and head to Amboseli via Nairobi. After relaxing at the Sentrim Amboseli lodge. From the 6-hour drive, we embark on our first photography game drive, looking for elephants and any interesting creative setup. We end the evening with silhouette photography as the sun goes down.

Full Day at Amboseli

We leave the lodge with packed lunch, spend the day exploring the wonderful Amboseli national park. We search for cheetahs, lions, big herds of elephants which are the main highlights of this beautiful park. In the swamps that are fed water by the Mount Kilimanjaro there is prolific birdlife as well, hippos zebras gnus and a variety of gazelles and antelope.

Amboseli to Mombasa

You will leave after breakfast and your safari guide will drop you at Emali Train Station for your Mombasa Train. On arrival in Mombasa, you will get transferred to Southern palm beach hotel in Diani Beach check in for 3 nights where you will enjoy your beach holiday.

Full day at Diani Beach

In Diani Beach you can Explore the coral reefs and diverse marine life with guided snorkeling and diving trips. You can also take a boat trip to this nearby island, known for its stunning coral gardens and clear waters perfect for snorkeling and diving. (At an extra cost).

Full Day at Diani Beach

During your stay in Diani, you can enjoy beach activities like swimming, snorkeling, and kite surfing. Visit Shimba Hills for a safari and see wildlife like elephants and giraffes. Discover local culture in Mombasa’s Old Town or join a Swahili cooking class. Enjoy sunset cruises, horseback riding along the beach, and unwind with spa treatments. For adventure seekers, there’s golfing, dolphin watching, and forest walks. (At an extra cost).
