Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

You will get picked up at the hotel or airport in the morning and proceed to Lake Nakuru national park. After approximately three and a half hours we arrive and start our game drive is this awe-inspiring park. We search for both the black and white rhinos, lions, antelopes, visit the shorelines for the flamingos and pelicans. Dinner and lunch will be at the lodge.

After breakfast we drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya's most favored game-viewing areas. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills. Afternoon game drive to see the sundowner as you trail the Big 5 i.e. Lions in large prides, Elephants, buffalos, zebras and numerous plain game. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp or lodge. Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, Wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. Mara is where the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti in search of water and pasture.

A full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the plains, Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous park and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometers of protected area. It is the Migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June.

Early morning breakfast then leave with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour. You will be taken 2000ft down the crater by a 4wheel drive vehicle. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home of Ngorongoro Crater.

We leave after an early morning breakfast and drive to the Kenya Tanzania border. After border formalities we head to Amboseli where we do a game drive as we head to the lodge/ camp. Amboseli is home to some of the biggest herds of elephants in Africa and it is definitely an elephant lovers haven. It is one of the best safari destinations for elephant photography with the Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.

Amboseli National Park is the best place to see big herds of elephant. The dusty plains play host to cheetahs and lions amongst the big cats. We recommend guests to leave camp or lodge at earliest legal times with packed breakfast to catch the morning serenity. The thought of the beautiful African sunrise in the open plains and breakfast in the wild with enchanting views should be motivation enough to make you jump out of bed early
