Transfer to Volcanoes NP

On this day, you'll be picked up from the airport or hotel by your driver-guide from Safari Vacations and Travel Services. You'll go for a brief city tour if time allows, before heading North of Rwanda. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Golden monkey trekking

Bwindi Impenetrable | Volcanoes

You will wake up for breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a briefing about golden monkey trekking. After that, you will head to the forest in search of these beautiful primates. After finding them, you'll examine their behavior for one hour, after which you'll return to the starting point, head to the lodge for lunch, and then later transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for overnight.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

On the third day, you will wake up, have breakfast, and head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing about gorilla trekking rules. You'll thereafter be divided into a group of 8 to search a gorilla family, with the help of 2 rangers and a guide. After finding the gorillas, you'll observe them for an hour. You'll return to the starting point. You'll then embark on a journey to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi.

Canoe cruise and transfer to Kigali

After breakfast, you will embark on a morning canoe cruise on Lake Bunyonyi to explore the beauty and history of several islands, allowing you to view wildlife and birds. After, you'll embark on a drive back to Kigali via the Katuna border to end the tour.
