Arrival in Nairobi

You will be received and transferred to your overnight hotel in Nairobi. After check in, you will have a short city excursion and a visit to the giraffe center Where you can feed the giraffes. Dinner and overnight at a Nairobi hotel. Should your flight land before midday, you can proceed right away on safari, or enjoy the excursion within Nairobi.

The drive to Samburu

Breakfast will be served at the hotel, soon after depart for Samburu National Reserve. You will enjoy great views on the way, and meals will be served at the Samburu Sopa Lodge/equivalent. An evening game drive will follow, Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Your stay in Samburu ends today and you leave for Sweetwaters game ranch, in Ol Pejeta. Your accommodation/meals will be in the exclusive Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

The drive to Rift valley lakes

Lake Nakuru

Proceed down the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will get there on time for lunch at a lake Nakuru lodge. Afternoon game drive in the park will follow, ending in the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Drive to Lake Naivasha

Today you will be a day of 'streching' abit and enjoy a walk to the Hells gate National Park. Then return to your lodge, for lunch. After lunch go down to the lake, and take a boat ride to the crescent Island, a short distance, to enjoy a gently walk among the wildlife. Dinner and overnight by a lake hotel.

Departure to Masai Mara

Masai Mara

A drive along the rift valley will take you to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, home of the wildebeest migrating herds and astounding big cat numbers. You will get there in the late afternoon, and check into your lodge. Time allowing, you will catch the last moments of wildlife before dusk. Dinner and overnight at Mtito Mara or equivalent.

Full day in Masai Mara

Several options are possible: You can take packed meals and venture further into the reserve in search of more wildlife that this reserve has in store for you. You will return to camp in the late afternoon hours where, time allowing, you can enjoy a swim at the pool. Dinner and overnight at the camp

Another full, but flexible day

Masai Mara

You will take packed meals and venture further into the reserve towards mara river in search of the big hippo pools, giant crocodiles and off course the world famous crossing point for the wildebeests, among other wildlife that this park has in store for you. You will return to the lodge for a rest, and probably a dip in the pool time permitting.

The departure back to Nairobi

Today you will not wake up early, and soon after breakfast, your safari back to Nairobi will start, arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon. Lunch will be served at Carnivore restaurant, then your transfer to the airport for your departure flight. If your flight leaves earlier, you can have lunch enroute, or leave camp with picnic lunch boxes.
