The park’s large elephant population, iconic Baobab trees, and diversity of wildlife make it one of the best parks in the country for taking breathtaking photos or simply basking in the beauty of the world’s largest land mammals.

Game drives through Tarangire are particularly thrilling during the dry season when the animals of the park must cluster closer and closer to the Tarangire River. This offers a great opportunity to see plenty of animals in one place and to witness the predator-prey relationship in action.

Pickup from Arusha To Tarangire NP

Tarangire

Morning by a guide from your hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch boxes. On arrival start with mid morning games drives and have picnic lunch. Continue with afternoon until 1600hrs and drive back to Arusha Town. On arrival you are dropped at your Hotel. Tarangire is a beautiful area stretching south east of Lake Manyara around the Tarangire River. Tarangire has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife than any of the countries National Parks.
