Windhoek to Etosha National Park

Etosha

We depart Windhoek, as we head north to Etosha National Park. Today's journey to Etosha will take you through quaint towns and villages. On arrival at the entrance to Etosha, the wildlife enjoyment will begin as we game drive to the renowned Okaukuejo Camp where we will be spending our first night in Etosha. At Okaukuejo Camp you can look forward to the highlight of the camp, a waterhole teeming with wildlife and the best spot to enjoy a true African sunset.

Etosha National Park

Today our game drive takes us on a wander of this unique and special place. We explore and experience the indigenous wildlife and take in their mystery and beauty. Another highlight to look forward to, is a visit to Etosha Pan, a dried up ancient salt lake known as the “Great White Place”. We continue our game drive to Halali Camp, where we will be spending another wildlife filled night. Much like Okaukuejo Camp, Halali has also a welcoming waterhole teeming with wildlife.

Southern Skeleton Coast

Today we make our way to the southern Skeleton Coast area of Cape Cross on the West Coast of Namibia, which also falls within Skeleton Coast National Park. The journey today takes us through a more rural park of Namibia and true desert regions. On arrival at our accommodation, you can look forward to the magnificence and wild Skeleton Coast coastline, as well as another fantastic African sunset, this time over the feisty Atlantic Ocean.

Southern Skeleton Coast

Today is a free leisure day to relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of Cape Cross, with a wander along its picturesque coastline and plenty of rest and relaxation at your lovely lodge with a view. Your day can be spent at your leisure, with optional activities to explore the vicinity of the Cape Cross area, with a visit to the Cape Cross seal colony or explore the local attractions with one of the local guides if preferred.

Swakopmund/Walvis Bay

We depart the still Skeleton Coast and make our way along the Atlantic Ocean towards the towns of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. We will be spending to lovely nights in this area, which will provide us the opportunity to explore and enjoy the sights and sounds that makes these two towns so special.

Swakopmund/Walvis Bay

After a good breakfast, we prepare and get ready for the day. The vibey coastal towns of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay have a lot to offer in terms of optional activities and excursions, such as scenic boat cruises, amazing skydiving over desert dunes, desert quad biking and sandboarding to name but a few.

Sesriem

Namib-Naukluft

After a refreshing start to the day, we head south to the Namib-Naukluft National Park…the heart of the Namib Desert. This area is also home to some of the tallest dunes in the world, and of course the main attraction Deadvlei & Sossusvlei. Along the way we pay a visit to “The Moon Landscape, as well as the “The Tropic of Capricorn.

Sesriem

An early start to the day as we drive further into the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Here you will get to witness the magnificence of the oldest desert in the world, showcasing its towering dunes. So, get ready for a sightseeing filled day with visits to Dune 45, Deadvlei, Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon.

Fish River Canyon

Ai-Ais/Richtersveld

Your journey continues southbound towards Hobas where we will visit the world's second biggest canyon the Fish River Canyon. We will make a few photo stops along the way, with a short visit to a little secluded village for a refreshment. The canyon is a must see on any trip to Namibia and also a nice way to conclude your Namibian leg of the tour.

Cederberg, South Africa

We say goodbye to wonderful Namibia by crossing the Orange River and making our way into the Northern Cape province of South Africa. We will break our journey to Cape Town with a stopover in the Cederberg region. While in the Cederberg area we pay a visit to the area's highlights.

Cape Town

After a good breakfast, we take a scenic drive towards Cape Town, with a few sightseeing spots to look forward to along the way. On arrival into Cape Town, we enjoy the sights of the “Mother City” and pay a visit to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. After a nice dinner you can look forward to tomorrow, with a day to explore, experience & enjoy the very best that the metropolis of Cape Town has to offer.

Cape Town

Your action filled day will begin with a visit to the top of the iconic Table Mountain by modern cable car. Once at the top be at awe with 360-degree views of the Cape peninsula. We journey around the peninsula taking a scenic world class coastal drive through Chapman's Peak, stopping at a viewpoint along the way for a few pics. The journey continues to the naval town of Simons Town where we will visit the famous African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
