On this 10-day private safari, you'll take time to experience the great migration at Serengeti National Park. You'll visit Lake Natron and Lake Eyasi, as well as Lake Manyara National Park, with us. Also, you'll visit the soda lake known as Lake Natron, which has over 2.5 million lesser flamingos that rely on the lake with its hyper-alkaline water. Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival, you will be picked up by a representative from Dancing Simba Safari and then driven to the hotel in Arusha. The first day's excursion includes a tour of the city's sights. Visiting the local markets, Maasai market, cultural heritage, and Arusha City Museum are all part of the city excursion. The rest of the day, you will prepare for your next upcoming trip with us.

Arusha To Lake Natron

We'll pick you up from your Arusha hotel after breakfast and take you off the beaten track, up the Rift Valley Escarpment, and towards Lake Natron. As you approach the small Maasai village of Ngare Sero, you will soon see Ol'doinyo Lengai, the sacred mountain of the Masai people, in the distance. You will be driving through a typical Maasai country. You'll go on a guided bush walk to Lake Natron, where thousands of flamingos gather.

You will set out early and travel further north as the car makes several tight turns and climbs gradually. You'll take in the final glimpse of Lake Natron before departing the Rift Valley and traveling to the Northern Serengeti through the village of Wasso. You will take a first-ever game drive in Lobo and enter the Serengeti by midday at Kleins Gate. Huge herds of wildebeests can be seen returning to the southern plains between October and December.

Large migratory herds reside there during the dry season. The Northern Serengeti is a largely unexplored wilderness that boasts an abundance of wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Its most alluring feature is without a doubt the enormous migratory herds of zebras and wildebeests that pass through this area during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti is also home to a diverse array of resident animals, including crocodiles, giraffes, hippos, lions and ect.

After a leisurely morning, you'll take a drive toward the Central Serengeti and spend the day watching the Big Five species in the Seronera Valley. The Seronera Valley is home to a diverse range of wildlife throughout the year, including carnivores like lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards. You will also be able to see ungulates like warthogs, zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos. Can you distinguish between a Grant and a Thomson gazelle.

You will enjoy another game drive in Serengeti National Park before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The incredible Ngorongoro Crater, the largest caldera in the world, is recognized as a World Heritage Site. They are dominated by 600-meter-tall cliffs that offer a sharp drop-off to an open area covering about 246 square kilometers. Upon arrival at the crater, you will have to rest and have dinner at your accommodation site.

You will start your 6-7 hour game drive down the crater at 6:00 am after an early breakfast, around 5:50 am, and pack a picnic lunch. You'll walk onto the crater floor to get a close-up look at the people living in this World Heritage Site. Here, you will have a picnic lunch. All year long, the Ngorongoro Crater offers fantastic wildlife viewing. Because there is always plenty of grazing and water available, Later on, you will drive to lake Eyasi.

The stunning Lake Eyasi is a soda lake that receives water from the Sibiti and Baray Rivers and is located in the southwest corner of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You may be familiar with other safari experiences from your Tanzanian wilderness trips with African Mecca, but visiting Eyasi Lake offers something different. The Hadzabe and Datoga communities reside in the area surrounding Eyasi, carrying on their traditional ways of pastoralism and hunting-gathering, respectively.

You will experience Tanzania's natural environment during this all-day trip to Materuni and Kikuletwa. For adventurous, cultural, and active travelers in the area, it is perfect. You will take a hike to the Materuni Waterfalls and stop for a cool swim afterward. After that, you will visit a nearby farm to discover more about Tanzania's coffee sector, and then unwind at the Kikuletwa Hot Springs. You will then be driven back to Arusha for dinner and the rest of the night.
