Transfer to Moremi game reserve

Rise early today anticipating what lies ahead on our transfer to Xakanaka (Moremi game reserve), the Delta provides a haven for abundant wildlife, which attracts predators in numbers like lions, wild dogs, cheetahs. We will start witnessing it beauty while transiting through Kazinkini Private Reserve to Moremi. During heat day alternatively go for siesta and lunch before we proceed with afternoon drive which shall call for close of day with an evening dinner.

Our first light safari in Xakanaka

Moremi

Moremi Game Reserve is one of Africa's well-known reserve with a vast feel of incredible sightings around every corner from the driving deep in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Wake up at around 0545hrs have our morning breakfast then we embark on morning game drive in Xakanaka, At around 1145hrs we drive back to the camp to spend the heat of the day, energize ourselves with bush lunch, we carry on with evening game drive until 1815hrs where we shall then return to camp, shower and dinner.

Exploring the Heart of the Okavango

Waking up at around 0530hrs follows breakfast; afterwards we proceed with a game drive on the rich area of Xakanaka. Xakanaka is known as the heart of the Okavango delta Moremi Game Reserve where the main channel of the Maunatjira (river) flows giving life to the wildlife here. We shall pass through Paradise Pool appreciating the view of herds of wild animals such as buffalos, wildebeests, antelope and many more on the day. Later sunset boat cruise in the Okavango delta.

Transit to Khwai

After the unforgettable wilderness experience of Moremi game reserve(Xakanaka) and an exciting game drives, our journey will lead to Khwai (Magotho Concession) is located on the eastern side of the Okavango sharing the Khwai river boundary with Moremi Game Reserve and section of Savuti (chobe national park). Wild animal roam freely between these areas. Sightings are plentiful throughout the year; it is a true wilderness with high concentrations of game and with its great leopards and lions

Amazing breezes of Khwai River

Enchanting birds, melodies and lion roars waking us up to start our day with early morning game drive as the Khwai river is permanently flowing acts like a magnet for wildlife Magotho a beautiful place, and the highlight of the peaceful elephants wandering through the campsite. A bush picnic along the delta lunch and plenty sightings as animal comes for a drink. With its beautiful landscape of dead camel thorn trees its ideal for sunset drinks or short walk before heading back to the campsite

we get up at sunrise and venture into the pristine wilderness of the Khwai Magotho with 4x4 game viewer vehicle, Say hello to a fresh morning over coffee/tea and rusks on morning game drive picnic after discovering the unique Okavango delta ecosystem in search of the wildlife these includes elephants, cheetah, hyena, Impalas, wild dog and even lion, our final leg of the morning drive will take us back through hippo pool to arrive at camp for lunch and enjoy an afternoon siesta.

Road transfer from Khwai to Savuti

Waking up at around 0530hrs start pack bags follows breakfast, after we proceed to Savuti national park, a game drive on Mababe depression while transiting through Mababe. We will stop at waterhole stretch point for rest and have lunch while watching elephants at waterhole. At around 1500hrs an evening game starts, through Savuti marsh and Rhino vlei searching for the famous (marsh pride) then drive to our new campsite (Boga 2, SV6 or Leopard rock). (From khwai to Savuti is around 67 km).

Chobe

An early morning wake-up signals a day of excitement and spectacular game sightings to explore the Savuti National Park. During the wet season, the drives will concentrate on the grass plains herds of animals gather with their young, which in turn attract predators. The dry season means the drives seek out the permanent waterholes where the resident animals drink. After our camp to have lunch and After a well-deserved rest, we will head out for an evening game drive
