Transfer to bwindi
Bwindi Impenetrable
The trip continues through the nearby Kisoro or Kabale town and Bwindi National Park. The journey from Kigali to Bwindi National Park will take approximately 5 hours. On arrival at Bwindi National Park in the early afternoon, you can do optional activities such as canoeing at Lake Mutanda, visiting the Batwa community, and having a coffee-making experience. Note: Before driving to Uganda, we can organize a complimentary Kigali city tour (including visiting the Genocide Museum).

Bwindi Impenetrable
You will head to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park gate immediately after breakfast to get a briefing about the gorilla trek. The national park guide will present what to expect during the gorilla trek. The national guide will assign the gorilla trekking group during the pre-trekking briefing. Other visitors will likely join you. The gorilla trek can take a few or many hours, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest.
