This Uganda safari will offer you an opportunity to explore the major primates of Uganda, starting with the loud Chimps of Kibale Forest, with a glimpse at the amazing wildlife and scenery of Queen Elizabeth National Park (Game drive and Boat cruise); to the land of the Mountain Gorillas - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Returning to Kampala after a gorilla tracking, will be for a city tour with souvenir shopping at the largest craft market, before flying out.

16/06/2025 Journey time: Approx. 6 Hours Pickup Time: 06:30AM. Early breakfast and check-out. Leave Kampala for Kibale National Park via Fort Portal (Lunch at a restaurant). En-route Activity: Visit Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves Next is Bigodi Cultural Tour (Kibale) – Cultural engagements include Bigodi coffee tasting, taste banana beer and traditional vodka, shop for arts and crafts, as well as cultural entertainment. Check-in at the lodge to refresh for dinner at leisure.

17/06/2025 Journey time: Approx. 2 Hours Pickup Time: 07:00AM. Breakfast and transfer to the park for briefing. Chimpanzee Tracking (AM): Briefing starts at 08:00AM, and tracking follows at 08:30AM, for 1 – 2 Hours once you find the chimps. Wear hiking boots, face mask, trousers, long-sleeves, and mineral water. Lunch is at Tinka’s Homestead. Thereafter, head Queen Elizabeth National Park - Sundowner in the Bunyaruguru Cater Lakes. Later to the lodge and check-in for diner.

Starting with Morning Game Drive: Explore the park’s fauna amid scenic views of the crater lakes and Rwenzori Mountains. Midmorning (At 10:00AM): Go for Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise. Thereafter, continue to Bwindi (Lunch at a restaurant). Upon arrival check-in at the lodge and stay at leisure – dinner is included.

19/06/2025 Pickup Time: 06:30AM. Early breakfast and be handed a lunchbox; be at the park office by 08:00AM. Gorilla Tracking Experience –Upon completing park formalities, embark onto a once in a life time experience of tracking the endangered mountain gorillas. Wear hiking shoes, face mask, trousers, long-sleeves, an insect repellent and mineral water. Planned Activity: Batwa Cultural Trail (3-hour cultural experience). Return to the lodge in the evening and for dinner at leisure.

Return to Kampala via the Equator
20/06/2025 Journey Time: Approx. 09 Hours Pickup Time: 07:00AM. You will have an early breakfast followed by a check-out. Thereafter depart Bwindi back to Kampala City on a scenic drive. Following several hours of driving, make a stopover at the Equator for lunch with a photo opportunity. From the equator, continue with the journey straight to the hotel and check-in to stay at leisure.

Kampala City Tour Sights include: Independence Monument, World War II Monument, Bank of Uganda, Nakasero Market, Kabaka’s Palace, Gadhafi National Mosque, Kasubi Tombs, Makerere University, and the Baha’i Temple (Closed on Mondays).
