These 4 days |3 night mount Meru climbing and hiking tour this package was designed to focus on climbing mount Meru located east of Arusha, it takes almost about 20 km to drive from Arusha; mount Meru is the second highest mountain in Tanzania it has the altitude of 4566meter above the sea level. Mount Meru most recently had a minor eruption (1910). The several small cones and craters in the vicinity probably reflect numerous episodes of volcanic activity. Mount Meru climb passes through different vegetation zones, at the dry forest, gives the way to a dense mountain forest, during the ascent to the mountain forest you will regularly see elephants, and buffalo.
Mount Meru climbing and hiking tour It is a great mountain to climb and offers spectacular scenery, including views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The mountain is unspooled and less congested as compared to its Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya counterparts.

DAY 1: MOMELLA GATE (1500) – MIRIKAMBA HUT (2500) Early in the morning Kitano tours and safari driver will be pick you up in your hotel and drive to momella gate in arusha national park it takes almost 2hour to reach at arusha, after reach at momella gate, a guide will perform the registration at Tanzanian national park (TANAPA) after completed the registration the hiker will start hiking & climbing toward the mountain forest,

DAY 2: MIRIKAMBA HUT (2500)-SADDLE

DAY 2: MIRIKAMBA HUT (2500)- SADDLE HUT (3550) Early in the morning after having a breakfast, you will continues ascent toward the saddle, you may see a lot of wild life along the ways, the walk will take as along the mount Meru crater and the impressive ash cone, when you arrival at camp you have the option of hiking/climbing little Mt. Meru (3820m) with your guide for further acclimate. You will be served an early dinner,
SADDLE HUT (3550)
DAY 3: SADDLE HUT (3550)–MERU PEA
