You will start your day early with a drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At 6:00 am, descend to the crater floor to witness Africa’s incredible wildlife. Ngorongoro Crater, formed by a volcanic explosion millions of years ago, is home to the rare black rhino, the Big Five, zebras, hippos, and hyenas. After a picnic lunch by Hippo Lake, enjoy an afternoon game drive. Later, return to Karatu Town for dinner and overnight at Fig Tree Budget Lodge.
