Machame gate to Machame Camp
Kilimanjaro
It takes approximately 30 minutes drive from Moshi town to Machame Gate. Here you will complete park registrations and get connected first day climb of the 6 days Machame route on mount Kilimanjaro. This route will take you up to Machame camp, while passing through the vegetation zone of dense rainforest. Distance : 10km Trekking Time : 6 - 7 hours

Machame Camp to Shira Cave Camp

After breakfast, we ascend from Machame camp to Shira Cave Camp. We cross the Shira Plateau. From this point, we get the rewarding views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Also, we shall be able to capture the magnificent views of Mount Meru rising high above from Arusha in the distance. Distance : 4.8km Trekking Time : 5 - 6 hours

Shira Cave Camp to Barranco Camp

Today the whole character of the trek changes as we move from vegetation zone to high moorland.We cross the southwest side of mount Kilimanjaro, passing the Lava Tower connecting to the arrow glacier and finally down to the Barranco camp for meals and spending the rest of the day and night. Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp

Today we starts with a tough steep walk on the Barranco wall followed by a gentle slope which finally takes us high to Karanga Camp. Leaving the Karanga camp, we hit the junction which connects with the Mweka Trail and then continue to Barafu Camp for rest and preparations for the Kilimanjaro summit. The peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo are to be seen from this point. The journey from Barafu to Mount Kilimanjaro summit starts in the mid-night. Distance : 8.5km Trekking time : 7 – 8 hours

Barafu to Uhuru Peak to Millennium
The climb to the summit starts in the midnight by the light of your torch, we ascend upwards to the northwest, climbing the heavy scree to Stella point on Mount Kilimanjaro Crater Rim with ice cliffs surrounding us .At this point we will be rewarded with magnificent views of Mawenzi peak given the first rays of the sun hitting us. From this point, we will walk approximately 1 hour to Uhuru Peak, the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m).

Millennium to Mweka Gate to Moshi
Today, we start hiking in the morning immediately after breakfast, We leave the millennium camp to Mweka gate. We shall complete park formalities and receive mount Kilimanjaro climbing certificates while being waited by our vehicles for the pick up to your respective hotel in Moshi town for shower, dinner and a well-earned rest
