On this tour we visit Mpumalanga’s (place where the sun rises) amazing Blyde River Canyon and Gods Window. Time permitting we include a waterfall near the town of Graskop. We overnight and dine in Graskop – a quant little town.

Johannesburg to Panorama Route

Depart from day ahead of us, we depart early morning from Johannesburg to avoid peak hour traffic, travelling east across the Highveld agri-cultural and coal mining land towards the town of Belfast. We will stop at Alzu Petro Port for coffee and refreshments. We should be at the Blyde river canyon at 13H00 and if the skies are clear, prepare for some amazing scenery at the canyon and Gods Window. We will stop for lunch on route or at Harries Pancakes in Graskop. We overnight in Graskop.

After breakfast we depart for Kruger gate and travel up to Skukuza for our first African safari, enjoying game viewing from the gate to Skukuza camp in our microbus. At Skukuza we leave the bus and luggage near reception, collect our Open safari vehicle and travel south searching for the Big 5. In the afternoon we return to Skukuza and check in the out accommodation. Explore the camp and visit the shop until time for dinner at the Cattle Baron under African stars.

Today is a full day game viewing in our Open safari vehicle. We have breakfast at a picnic spot somewhere in the bush so we depart as soon as the gate is open to perhaps meet the predators out early on the hunt. The safari is again a long one but this is your opportunity to see as much wildlife as possible. We return to our camp in the afternoon Many people dream of this safari so this is your turn to learn of the African bush and experience it. We have dinner in Skukuza.

Today it’s time to leave this amazing place towards home with your last game drive starting early and a breakfast at the Cattle Baron. After breakfast we have time to pack our bags and depart at 09H00 for a last game drive to Phabeni gate near Hazyview. We should be back in Johannesburg at 17H00 for your drop-off at the airport or hotel. Lunch will be at Alzu.
