Itinerary

Johannesburg to Kruger Park

Leave Johannesburg travelling eastward across the rolling grasslands of the Highveld towards the majestic east Drakensberg escarpment. Make sure your camera and binoculars are ready for the first exciting game drive when you see your first animals. As the sun is setting travel a short distance to a lodge or camp where we stay overnight. Book into a room or safari tent. Time to relax on the deck looking across the Sabie river where you might see some hippos or crocodile. Dinner in the bush

Skukuza camp

Full day Safari in Kruger

Your first morning game drive starts before the sun is up so we enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and our famous “Rusks”. As soon as the gate opens we enter searching for animals and wait for the sunrise. Keep your camera ready for any wild life crossing the road as this usually happens quickly. Breakfast and lunch will be at one of the camps or picnic spot as we traverse the park for the day. You will find your eyes are tired but your soul is saturated with all you have seen so as we enjoy dinner

Skukuza camp or Satara camp

Last day in Kruger

Depart from camp for your final game drive searching for a chance to find those elusive animals you have missed. Enjoy breakfast either back in camp or on the way out at a picnic spot before you leave the Park to begin your homeward journey. Travel westward via Mbombela and back up to the Highveld. Arrive in Johannesburg at O R Tambo Airport around 16.00. Please allow 1.5 hours connecting time for local flights or 3.0 hours for International flights.
