Nairobi - Masai Mara

Masai Mara

You will be picked up from hotel and heading Masai Mara and drive north ascending the Great Rift Valley for breathtaking views and photography. The Rift Valley was formed millions of years ago. Stretching some 5,000 miles from Jordan to Mozambique, it’s the largest rift on Earth. Drive to Narok Town then to Masai Mara to arrive early for a hot lunch. After checking into your lodge, freshen-up then have lunch. Later go for an introductory evening game viewing drive.

After breakfast, go on a game viewing-drive across the rich savanna grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game, black-manned lions, leopard, and cheetah, but also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found here in the Mara. You will have picnic lunches at the hippo pools. Dinner and overnight will be at either luxury camp, luxury lodge, or budget camp.

You have a pre-breakfast sun-rise game drive to see leopard, cheetah, lions, and other cats hunting. This is the best time to spot the cat's family, when making a kill for their breakfast/lunch as the sun rises-up. You will head back to the camp/lodge for your full breakfast before departing with an en-route game viewing-drive as you leave Mara region to Nairobi. Have lunch en route at Narok arriving in Nairobi at the evening then get dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
