Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to the airport. Arriving at Seronera Airstrip around 10:30-11:00 am, you’ll meet the safari crew for a full-day game drive in Serengeti, known for its predators and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Enjoy a hot lunch at a picnic site with a beautiful view, despite the playful monkeys and baboons. Afterward, continue the game drive and head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti Early Morning Game Drive

After an early breakfast at around 6:30 am, you will go on an early game drive searching for the Big Five until the afternoon, when you head back to the lodge for a hot lunch. We will proceed with the game drive while we exit the Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Upon arrival, we will settle in at Suricata Boma, where we will spend the night on a full-board basis.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

After an early breakfast, we’ll descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a morning game drive in search of black rhinos. The crater, surrounded by towering walls, offers a Jurassic Park-like experience. Enjoy lunch at a hippo pool with views of the hippos. Afterward, continue the game drive, then ascend the crater and exit the conservation area. Head to Tarangire National Park for overnight accommodation at Jungle Pearl in Mto wa Mbu.

Tarangire Game Drive then Zanzibar

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive through Tarangire's golden savannah, surrounding the Tarangire River, a vital water source for animals during the dry season. The river, with acacia and baobab trees, attracts large elephant herds and other herbivores. You may also spot lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, and antelopes, with a chance to see rare animals like the greater kudu or wild dog. In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
