Tarangire
Pickup from Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you leave early to Tarangire National Park. This is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the life blood of the park. Many animals’ predators and the preys alike gather around the river where you can see game. Overnight Panorama

After breakfast depart 07:30 for Serengeti passing through Olduvai George, the site of the Leakey family discovery of fossils 50 km long and in some places 90 metres deep. It drains the slopes of the nearby mountains plus of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. Olduvai Gorge is a canyon carved by water through the southern part of the Serengeti Plain. The george is about the Serengeti Plain. Overnight at Nyani Campsite

Afterward, we have breakfast and a full-day game drive with a bush lunch inside the park. We will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai kopjes, which usually attract a number of lions and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. Early morning breakfast proceed directly to base of the Ngorongoro crater for a full day game drive to see the eighth wonder of the world. Game viewing on the bottom of the crater. Later proceed to Kilimanjaro airport.
