Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1: Mountain Gorilla Safari The Rwanda Gorilla Express Safari starts with a morning arrival or mid afternoon arrival into George Kayibanda Kanombe International Airport. Our representatives will meet you and transfer on a lovely 2.5 hour drive through winding roads to the Mountain Gorillas Nest Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Day 2: Rwanda Gorilla Safari Morning breakfast at the hotel then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting the gorilla trekking safari through the Bamboo Forests. The amount of time taken to find the gorillas is about 2-4 hours. The viewing takes another one hour before returning to the lodge for lunch. Later, transfer to Kigali for dinner and overnight at the Kigali Novotel or Similar.
Day 3
Day 3: Rwanda Safari to Genocide Depending on the departure flight out of Nairobi, you may visit the Rwanda Genocide Memorial Museum in Kigali before heading to the airport for departure.
