Pick up and Transfer to Nyungwe

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by a representative from our company who will be your driver guide and embark on your transfer to Nyungwe forest with lunch en-route and a stopover to visit some genocide memorials and proceed to the park and upon arrival check-in to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 2 : Chimpanzee Trekking

Nyungwe Forest

After an early morning breakfast, you will be taken to the park offices for the briefing about the does and don’ts during the tracking of the primates after which proceed into the tropical rain forest searching for the shy chimpanzees in the tree branches. More birds can be spotted too in the Nyungwe National park. Return to lodge for lunch. In the evening take the canopy walk looking for primates, birds and the clear of the green canopy cover. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Depart from Nyungwe to Kigali

After a relaxed breakfast, embark on our transfer back to Kigali with our lunch enroute and a stopover to visit the ancient King’s palace at Nyanza. Later you will meet a local women’s drumming group to hear about their history and later proceed to Kigali dropping you off at the airport or at you hotel depending on your program
