Pickup | Transfer to Akagera

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our safari guide, who will transfer you to Akagera National Park in the eastern part of Rwanda. Upon arrival, you will go for a game drive, after which you will have lunch at the Akagera Game Lodge. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat ride on Lake Ihema to see aquatic animals like hippos as water birds like the papyrus gonolek, shoebill stork and African fish eagle. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Full Day Game Drive

Akagera

After breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive to see wildlife such as elephants, impala, black-tailed mongoose, hippos, oribi, bushbucks, antelopes, zebras, Cape elands, giraffes and buffalo. You will also see primates like the Olive baboon, vervet monkey and bush baby and later in the afternoon return to the lodge to reflax and have your lunch and later go for another game drive in that will end in the evening and later relax at your lodge for dinner and overnight

Game Drive and Transfer to Kigali

Akagera

After an early morning breakfast, check-out and head for an early morning game drive in search for game where you will see zebras, giraffes, elephants, hippos, buffalos, antelopes among others. After the game drive, you will embark on your return to Kigali with lunch en-route and later be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight.
