Nairobi to Masai Mara NP

Pick Up at the Airport/hotel and proceed for a 5 hours drive south west part of Kenya to maasai mara National Park. Get the chance to soak in the beautiful views as we descend to the great escarpment with a possible stop over. Arrive at the park in good time for lunch and proceed with check in, lunch and relaxation. At 4 Oclock head out for a two hours evening game drive at the park in search Masai Giraffe, Lions,Cheetah, Leopard, elephants and other more wildlife and birds species.

After breakfast, leave with packed lunch head out for a full day game drive within the park and the mara river. Masai Mara is known for the spectacular great migration that takes place in July through to October. During this period you get to enjoy the wildebeest crossing as they are being hunted by the crocodiles while land predators await them in the mainland. You can spot all of the big five (Lion, leopard, rhino, elephant & cape buffalo at any time of the year.

Today's program is also very flexible; you can choose between two options. Option 1: Breakfast and exit the lodge with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara Reserve, searching for the Big 5 and other animals. Option 2: Go on for an optional hot air balloon ride ( USD 500pp) in the early morning, followed by mid-morning game drives before driving to the lodge for lunch. Later have an afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, depart with packed lunch to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. After visa formalities at the Isebania border, you shall proceed to Serengeti. Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s oldest park famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing Arrive late afternoon at Tanzania Bush Camp with a game drive en-route.

After breakfast at the camp, you shall depart with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the park for a chance to see the BIG 5, Migrations, and even many more animals. Return for dinner and overnight in the evening at Tanzania Bush Camp Serengeti.

After breakfast proceed drive to Ngorongoro Conservancy. Arriving at the park in good time for lunch with game enroute to your Lodge. In the afternoon head for a half day crater tour. The rim of the crater is an astounding 2286 meters above sea level. The floor contains a small soda lake called Lake Magadi, and it is estimated that 30000 animals live in the crater, making it the most intensive safari game viewing area on earth.

After breakfast check out of your lodge with packed lunch and proceed with a drive to Amboseli National Park. After visa formalities at The Namanga border, you shall proceed to Amboseli National Park. You will have a bush lunch on a hill facing Mt Kilimanjaro, Later continue with your game drive. Amboseli is the best park to get close to the free-ranging elephants, over 1600 elephants. After the game drive, proceed with check in to your lodge, freshen up, relaxation then dinner and overnight.

On this day, you have two options to choose from: Option one; Early morning game drive, return for a breakfast, freshen up and spend the rest of the midmorning at your leisure, either swimming in the pool or just relaxing. Later have lunch and proceed for the evening game drive then return to the camp for dinner and overnight. Option 2: Early breakfast and proceed for a whole day game drive with packed lunch. Return to the camp for dinner and turn in for the night.

Early morning game drive in to catch the sunrise with spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro and in search of more wildlife and bird species. This game drive also takes you to the swamp where you get a chance to watch the wild animals and birds quench their thirst. Head back to your camp/ lodge for breakfast, then proceed with check out of the park back to Nairobi with drop off at the airport or Nairobi Hotel.
