Drive from Moshi to Rongai Gate (3-4 hours), complete park formalities, and begin trekking through dense rainforest. Reach Simba Camp (2,750 meters) after 3-4 hours of trekking, where you can enjoy the lush surroundings and rest for the night.

Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp
Kilimanjaro
Continue trekking through the gradually thinning rainforest, entering the moorland zone with its unique plant life. Ascend through rolling hills and valleys, passing Second Cave (3,450 meters) before reaching Kikelewa Camp (3,600 meters) after 6-7 hours of trekking.

Ascend through alpine desert terrain, enjoying stunning views of Mawenzi Peak. Arrive at Mawenzi Tarn (4,330 meters) after 3-4 hours of trekking and settle in for the night.

Cross the "Saddle" between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, trekking through the vast alpine desert. Arrive at Kibo Hut (4,700 meters) after 5-6 hours of trekking. Rest and prepare for the summit attempt.

Summit Day - Uhuru Peak
Kilimanjaro
Begin your summit attempt around midnight, trekking through steep and challenging terrain, including Gilman's Point (5,681 meters). Reach Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters) at sunrise. After celebrating at the summit, descend back to Kibo Hut for a short rest and breakfast, then continue your descent to Horombo Hut (3,720 meters). The total trekking time is 11-15 hours.

Descend through the rainforest to Marangu Gate, where you'll receive your summit certificates. Transfer back to Moshi or Arusha, celebrating your achievement with a well-deserved meal and rest.
