Airport Pick-Up

A staff driver from Serengeti Landmark Tours will pick you up from Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha city. The operations manager will brief you on the safari with information about the next day's adventure. If you have time, you can do the Arusha town tour.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After pick-up from your hotel go on the 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park where you will have a full-day game drive. Later, you will drive to fanaka for dinner and your overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is located 115km from Arusha and covers an area of 2,800sq km. Wild animals drink water from the Tarangire River. The park has major attractions including a large number of elephants, tree-climbing pythons, and baobab trees. You will also see lions, leopards, and other animals.

You will wake up at 5:45 am for an early breakfast and see the sunrise inside Serengeti. You will do the early morning game drive until 11:30 am. Head back to the campsite for a hot lunch, pack your belongings in the Jeep and proceed with a game drive in Serengeti while heading to the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive,

You will wake up at around 5:30 am for breakfast whereafter, you will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. You will be able to see all of the Big Five (including the black rhino), as well as many species of birds. Enjoy your lunch inside the crater while watching nature and the high concentrations of flamingos. After the 6 to 7-hour game drive, you will ascend the crater .

Lake Manyara National Park Game

Lake Manyara

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive inside the park. You will be able to see tree-climbing lions as well as the many flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. You will also visit a hot spring. You will then proceed to a Maasai boma where you will see how they live and learn about their culture and traditions. Later, drive back to Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay.
