Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi/Arusha at 07:00 AM and driven to Tarangire National Park, where your safari journey begins. Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and a rich variety of bird species. As you traverse the park’s landscapes, you’ll have the chance to witness its incredible wildlife, including a diverse population of large mammals. After your game drive, you will be transferred to your lodge in Karatu for an overnight stay.

An early start is recommended to catch the morning activity of the wildlife. With breakfast packed in lunchboxes, you’ll depart at 6:30 AM for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In just about an hour, you will descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater, home to a dense concentration of wildlife. Be prepared to spot elephants, lions, wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and possibly even the rare rhinoceros.
