Travel to Samburu National Reserve

The Samburu Special Five safari tour starts at the heart of Kenya, Nairobi, with a scheduled pickup. Depart Nairobi with either a mini safari van or a 4X4 Toyota Land Cruiser for the semi-arid Samburu National Reserve. Stop over briefly at the Nanyuki Equator crossing point and drive further to arrive at Samburu in time for a late hot lunch. Enjoy the first introductory game drive from 1530hrs till sunset, return to the lodge or campsite for dinner, and overnight.

Our day is scheduled for a thrilling unforgettable adventure in search of the rare Samburu Special five that are in large numbers, the African Elephants that traverse the Ewaso Ng’iro Riverbanks seeking respite from the sun, cheetahs, lions, warthog, hyenas, wild dogs, antelopes, gazelle and many wild animal and bird species. With a private safari, the game drives are flexible, decide on either a full day of game search or enjoy two game drives separated with a break for a hot lunch.
