Great Wildbeest Migration

Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport. You will be picked up and driven by private transfer to Arusha, to your reserved hotel. Your guide will come and give you an introduction to the whole safari. At noon you will be picked up and driven to the unique cultural centre, ‘Cultural Heritage Gallery’ on the outskirts of Arusha. The variety of sculptures, masks, furniture, drawings and photos from all parts of Africa on display here is extremely impressive and worth visiting.

Today we dedicate ourselves to the Ngorongoro Crater, which offers a breathtakingly beautiful backdrop and is the best place in East Africa to see the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and leopard). Any safari in northern Tanzania should ideally include a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater. It is one of the most beautiful nature safari locations in the world and is rightly one of the most famous safari destinations on the continent. Later you will drive to Serengeti for overnight

The park has an area of 18,000 km² and for the most part the plains stretch to the horizon, our senses play tricks on us and make things that are far away appear much closer. Here is the site of a breathtaking spectacle, the world-famous great migration of the wildebeest. More than 2 million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes, wander the park following the rain in search of food. These large herds naturally attract predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards.
