Upon landing at Kilimanjaro Airport, your designated driver will be waiting to greet you and escort you to Arusha for an overnight stay and dinner. Relax and unwind in your accommodation, preparing for the safari adventure ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may receive a pre-safari briefing upon arrival or early the next morning before departing for your safari excursion.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your lodge and driven to Tarangire National Park, about 110 km from Arusha, taking roughly 2 hours. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, lions, leopards, and abundant birdlife, all set within diverse landscapes. Highlights include the Silale Swamp, which attracts wildlife year-round, and the Tarangire River, a crucial water source during the dry season. After a full day of exploration, you'll head to Migombani Campsite for an overnight stay.
