Safari summary

After breakfast on Day one; we’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha or Moshi and head to Arusha National Park, where we’ll start our wildlife game drive. You’ll see landmarks like the picturesque Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater, often called ‘Little Ngorongoro.’ A highlight of the day will be passing under the Fig Tree Arch, a natural arch formed by the roots of a giant fig tree, where we’ll stop for photos. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the park’s natural beauty before continuing our game drive, spotting animals such as buffaloes, giraffes, and zebras. In the late afternoon, we’ll return to Arusha, where you’ll spend the night at a comfortable hotel included in the tour.
On Day two, we’ll depart early for Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobab trees and large termite mounds. The park is famous for its elephant population, and we’ll also have the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, warthogs, and cheetahs. After exploring Tarangire, we’ll travel to Lake Manyara, where your accommodation near the lake offers beautiful views and a peaceful setting for dinner and rest.
Day three will start with an early breakfast as we make our way to Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, we’ll descend into the crater for a game drive, enjoying a picnic lunch in this stunning environment. Ngorongoro is one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five: buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions, and leopards. The crater’s unique geography allows for year-round wildlife viewing, with opportunities to see zebras, hippos, wildebeests, hyenas, and various bird species, including flamingos on the Soda Lake. Our expert guides will help track these animals for a memorable experience. After a full day of exploration, we’ll return to Arusha in the late afternoon, marking the end of our exciting 3-day safari, where you’ll have experienced the diverse beauty of Arusha, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro Crater.
