After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, your Kizza Adventures driver-guide will collect you from Moshi and set off early for Tarangire National Park. This initial leg of your journey promises an exciting start as we traverse the scenic landscapes leading to one of Tanzania's most remarkable wildlife destinations.

Upon arrival at Tarangire, you'll be greeted by the park’s distinctive features, including its enormous termite mounds and ancient baobab trees, which dot the landscape and provide a unique backdrop for your safari. Tarangire is renowned for its vast elephant population, often seen roaming in large herds amidst the park's rich vegetation. The park’s diverse ecosystems also support a variety of wildlife, including formidable lions, elegant giraffes, and cheeky warthogs. You may also spot ostriches, impalas, swift cheetahs, inquisitive mongooses, imposing buffaloes, and playful baboons.

Tarangire is a birdwatcher's paradise, home to an impressive array of avian species. In the evening, you'll settle in for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the day's incredible wildlife encounters. The following day begins with an early start to ensure a full day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater. This stunning caldera, formed by a volcanic eruption millions of years ago, offers a unique safari experience due to its high walls that create a self-contained environment where wildlife is largely resident year-round.

Our game drive in the crater will provide an exceptional opportunity to see the Big Five—buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions, and leopards—all within the same day.
