Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Briefing

Airport transfer to accommodation in Arusha. Comprehensive pre-trek briefing, including equipment check.

Day 2: Londorossi Camp

Kilimanjaro

Transfer to Londorossi Gate, commencing the trek through lush rainforest. Overnight at Londorossi Camp (approximately 2,100m).

Day 3: Shira Camp 1

Kilimanjaro

Continue ascent through rainforest, transitioning to heath and moorland zones. Overnight at Shira Camp 1 (approximately 3,000m).

Day 4: Shira Camp 2

Kilimanjaro

Traverse the expansive Shira Plateau. Acclimatization hike to Lenticular Hills. Overnight at Shira Camp 2 (approximately 3,600m).

Day 5: Moir Camp

Kilimanjaro

Continue across the Shira Plateau, entering the alpine desert zone. Overnight at Moir Camp (approximately 4,200m).

Day 6: Lava Tower Acclimatization

Kilimanjaro

Day hike to Lava Tower (4,600m) for enhanced acclimatization. Return to Moir Camp for overnight stay.

Day 7: Barranco Camp

Kilimanjaro

Descend to the scenic Barranco Valley. Overnight at Barranco Camp (approximately 3,900m).

Day 8: Summit Attempt
