Day 1: Nelspruit/Berg-en Dal Camp
Kruger
Upon arrival, you will be transferred from the airport to the Kruger National Park. Your birding safari begins as you enter this magnificent Big 5 Reserve. The scenic drive to the rest camp may also offer sightings of Impala, Giraffe, and Zebra. Birding in the camp is fantastic, with resident species like Retz's Helmet-Shrike, African Barred Owlet, Eastern Nicator, and Trumpeter Hornbill. You'll enjoy your first night dining under the star-studded African sky and overnight in the camp.
Berg-en-Dal Rest Camp
Day 2: Berg-en-Dal/ Skukuza

Start the day with a cup of hot coffee in camp before setting out at sunrise. Look for Southern Ground Hornbill, Grey-headed Parrot, Bennett's Woodpecker, Tawny Eagle, and Scarlet-chested Sunbird. As you head towards Skukuza Rest Camp, watch for Saddle-billed Stork, Goliath Heron, Little Egret, and Giant Kingfisher along the rivers. After checking in, rest or visit the camp shop. An afternoon drive may add Pied Kingfisher, Crested Barber, and Orange-breasted Bushshrike to your list.

Day 3: Skukza

At daybreak, after enjoying your morning coffee listening to the dawn chorus, you'll leave the camp. As you drive along the scenic Sabi River, be on the lookout for the diverse bird species that inhabit this region. Scan the riverbanks for Storks and Egrets, and White-fronted Bee-eaters. Four types of vultures can be found perched in the tall trees. : White-backed, Hooded, Lappet-faced, and White-headed Vulture. In the evening, at dinner, listen for the calls of Nightjars and Owls.

Day 4: Skukuza/Nelspruit
Kruger
After enjoying your last breakfast in the wonderful Reserve, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
