This tour takes you through prime destinations in the Pearl of Africa - Uganda starting with Lake Mburo National Park where you encounter wildlife up close while enjoying a nature walking safari with an armed ranger. Thereafter the tour proceeds to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's second largest conservation area filled with an array of incredible wildlife species. Queen Elizabeth National Park is famous for the tree climbing lions of Ishasha and the Kazinga channel that is densely populated with buffaloes, elephants, hippos and Nile crocodiles. On this tour, you also get to explore the southern highlands blanketed by the evergreen Bwindi Impenetrable tropical rainforest - home of the majestic mountain gorillas. Walking Safari in Lake Mburo NP

Your tour will start on this day with a transfer where your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel/airport (Entebbe) and take you to Lake Mburo National Park. Once in the park you will check in your safari lodge and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will head out into the plains of the park for a nature walking safari with an armed ranger and you will expect to encounter several animals up close such as giraffes, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks and birds among many others.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

After an early breakfast, you will set out on a morning game drive through the park to explore more wildlife rising to the new day. Thereafter you will proceed to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Once in Queen Elizabeth, you will check in to you safari lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will explore the twin crater lakes for a crater rim hike and coffee farm/community tour and finally crown the day with a sunset picnic at the top of the crater and return to your lodge.

Game drive and Boat trip

On this day, you will rise early for breakfast and set out on a game drive to catch the nocturnal animals such as lions, leopards, hyenas retreating to their hideouts after the night routines. After the game drive, you will then return to the lodge for a lunch break as you prepare an afternoon boat trip on the Kazinga channel that will certainly have you in awe as you witness an abundance of marine life and birds. You'll then return to your safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP

On this day, you will rise to a convenient breakfast and thereafter set out on a transfer to the southern highlands blanketed by the evergreen tropical rainforest where the majestic mountain gorillas reside. You will have stopovers to explore interesting features along the way as well as a lunch break. Once in Bwindi, you will check in to your safari lodge to freshen and thereafter visit the nearby local communities to explore the culture of the Batwa people that once lived in the forest.

Early morning you will have breakfast and head out to the briefing station for orientation before embarking on the gorilla trek. After the briefing, you will venture into the dense Bwindi Impenetrable forest with packed lunch to track the gorillas. Once you locate the gorillas, you will spend up to 1 hour witnessing their habits and similarities to mankind. Thereafter you will transfer to Bunyonyi where you will enjoy breathtaking views and check in for dinner & overnight stay.

Transfer to Entebbe

On this last day, after breakfast you will have your final transfer back to Entebbe city. You will a stopover for the equator experience as well as a lunch break and thereafter proceed to hotel/airport for your departure flight.
